Mini Haul

:D I haven't had a haul in a looooong time. So yesterday, I went out with my mom to return some shirts and ended up getting a few things myself.

I got a blazer from Nordstrom, an adorable red dress from Forever 21 that's not up on the site yet so I can't link to it... :( and a reeeeally pretty MAC eye makeup kit in Tartan Tale. Then, last night I went out to dinner last night with my grandma, mom, dad, and sis. The pizza we had was SO GOOD. ^^

And now I have a cold. :P

ARW: Fullmetal Alchemist & Update

Another anime review of the week! This week I'm reviewing Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood.

Fullmetal Alchemist is about a fifteen year old boy, Edward Elric, and his fourteen year old brother, Alphonse Elric, who go to find a sorcerer's stone to get their bodies back. In the process of attempting human transmutation, which is a taboo in alchemy, Edward lost his right leg, and Alphonse lost his whole body. Edward then sacrifices his arm to bond his brother's soul to a suit of armor. A few years later, they join the military as state dogs to go on as alchemists to get their bodies back.

I personally liked this anime, and I know a lot of other people do too... but it's kinda mature and pretty gory. (Don't watch it if you don't like seeing half-dead people turned inside out and backwards.) Ed does have a cussing issue, and then some of the homunculus are kinda gross (I'm mostly referring to Wrath, Envy, and Gluttony) so I really would not recommend watching this if you have a weak stomach.

Out of ten stars, I give this anime six stars. It wasn't my favorite anime, but it also wasn't the worst. And sorry to say, but Vic Mignogna made Ed sound too squeaky. I liked the sub better.

*********************************

My update... well...

Let's start with this: Paris is canceled due to lack of people signing up. We needed eighty, and we got fifty, and half of the fifty was "maybes." Bummer.

Four day weekend! Whoooo! But I don't get out of allergy treatments or piano class. :P Darn. Oh well, I'm getting pretty far along with piano... I'm playing Jacob's Theme from Eclipse, Where are you Christmas from How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and Greensleves. I love all of these songs very much. And then with NAET... I'm not getting very far. I'm the actual mystery. They can't figure out why I still can't taste or smell anything (It's been over a year since I last tasted or smelled anything) so it's been a little hard... :(

That's it for now. Not much has been happening lately...

ARW Kuroshitsuji

AR=Anime Review of the Week! Yuppers, I've got my own special thing that I'll do weekly. ;D This week I'm doing one on my own favorite anime, Kuroshitsuji.

Kuroshitsuji (or Black Butler) is about a 12 year old boy (Ciel Phantomhive) who makes a contract with a demon butler (Sebastian Michaelis) so he can avenge his parent's deaths.

*Complete Plot:*
12-year-old (13-year-old as of chapter 14) Ciel Phantomhive is the current head of the English Phantomhive noble family and the Funtom toy and confectionery company. Under his lead, the company grew into a major corporation. Ciel is tasked with solving problems plaguing London under Queen Victoria's orders. He is helped by Sebastian Michaelis, a demon bound to Ciel's will by a contract. Sebastian serves as the Phantomhive butler. Until the terms of their contract are met, Sebastian must keep Ciel alive.

So out of ten stars, I rate this anime 9.99 stars. Why only 9.99? Because nothing is perfect, not even anime. Or really hot demon butlers. I would definitely recommend this anime to anyone who needs something to watch. (I didn't know this, but they made a musical out of it!!! 8D) Right now it's only an English dub, but they're already making it into a sub.

Vampire Knight and Other Stuff

Well, I've been watching Vampire Knight lately... it doesn't really live up to awesome expectations. :/ Black Butler still holds the title of #1 on my list. Although I must say, I'm not looking forward to the English dub of Kuroshitsuji that will be coming out soon. -_-' They made Sebastian sound too old, and Ciel to emotion-y.

Okay, one thing I've been wanting to do (and hopefully will do soon) is cosplaying. :D Trying to get together either a Ciel Phantomhive costume (the trap costume... aka the dress) or an Alois Trancy cosplay. (I just want his bootay shorts to be honest. 8D) That should be fun.

Not really wanting to go to my choir retreat... it's supposed to be fun, but I'm not sure. I'll just have to see. But I am looking forward to paint balling!!!

What I've Been Doing

Well, so many things have been happening lately.

Yesterday I went to a Halloween store with my fam and got my uber awesome Halloween Costume. I'm going to be Harley Quinn! If you don't know who she is, I would suggest Googling her. (She roooocks! And ironically, my sister is going to be Bat Girl!)

Then last night I went to Castle Dark with some friends. They all told me it was going to be really scary and all that junk, but I didn't get scared once. :(

And then today I went to Riley's Farm and got to pick some apples. We didn't stay long because Nicole got freaked out by the bees.

School... blegh...

The title says it all. School is a downer and a waste of time. I mean, when are we ever going to use math, or science, or history in real life? Okay, so I guess I get the point of math, but why do we need the other stuff? It's a waste! >:(

A revelation

Wow, I never knew how good anime was until I started watching it more... and more... and more... FMA (Team Edward Elric!) and Kuroshitsuji (otherwise known as Black Butler, and sorry Ed, just switched to team Sebastian) are so the best. Kuroshitsuji is adorkable and I'm so in love with Sebastian, but FMA is nice for when I need to feel better about shortness. DRINK YOUR MILK ED!

Blegh

... yeah, I'm sick. Isn't it just so fun when it's almost Friday and school is ALMOST over for the week, and then you get sick? Yeah, I hate it. :P

On another note, I had my first Karate lesson this week! Let me tell you, punching, kicking, and black is fun, but I want to be a ninja. That's all I want. SO LET ME BE A NINJA ALREADY!!!

Brothers by Vic Mignogna

*is crying* This is a song sung by the voice of Edward Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood (English DUB) and it's so beautiful! You can listen to it here. It's such a beautiful song, and it made me want to go give my little sister a big bear hug. It really sums up the storyline between Ed and Al, and it's probably my new favorite song. It's a shame that iTunes only has the remixed version of it that's too upbeat. To really enjoy the song, it has to be the pretty version, not the dance-y version.

And to top it off...

These two are genius. I love it!

Just another Hater post

I don't like Miley Cyrus either. This photo just read my thoughts.

A Revelation

JUSTIN BIEBER IS A GIRL IN DISGUISE!!! Yeah, that's right. I know his biggest secret. Well... maybe it's not so much of a secret since everyone in the entire world knows (except my little sister) that he's secretly a girl. ;-) Here's the proof:

Big Brother 12 and other movies

I love watching Big Brother. Andrew and Rachel always annoyed me to death (And I would have pushed them off of a cliff if I could have) and Matt, Brittany, Layne, and Ragan have been my favorites by far. ^^ Ragan is just so cute!

I just watched Julie and Julia too, and it reminded me how much I love that movie. It's adorable and fun to watch, and Julia Child is just a hilarious person.

I had my dad take a few headshots of me, and I'm going to send them in to the Breaking Dawn casting director tomorrow. I feel really happy because I used my NEW Covergirl concealer, and I had perfect hair in my photo thanks to Michelle, my amazing hairdresser. It's so soft and so straight and I can't stop petting it!

Well... I had spirit day at my school today... and guess what? THEY DIDN'T STINKING HAVE ME IN THE SYSTEM!!! Grr... I won't have my schedule until Monday so I won't have even a chance to memorize my schedule. Waaaaah. Oh yeah, and my PE shorts look like a circus tent on me. Yuck.

Green Finger

Well I haven't posted in a while, have I? So yesterday I went to Tilly's and got a few bracelet sets (They're all really random and colorful) and then a ring set (They're silver and say peace). The bracelets look great, but one of the rings turned my finger green. Blegh. Anyone know how to get rid of the greenness?

SUTC

Just watched the new Stand up to Cancer ad, and I love it. It features actors such as Logan Lerman, Vanessa Hudgens, Zac Efron, Dakota Fannings, and so many more. It's a really good ad, I must say.

I'm back!

Yes, I'm back! My vacation was AH-mazing. D.C. was hot and humid, and the part that I DIDN'T enjoy. I dislike history very much. Mt. Vernon sucked... sorry George Washington, but your house is boring.

Maine was rainy and beautiful. We stayed right on the shore, so we were down at the beach eeeevry day.Loved it!

New York was my favorite part. We went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art which I LOVED, the Empire State Building, and 5th Avenue. The MMoA was so cool. We spent most of the time in the Greek and Roman area (my request) which was really nice, but there were less statues of the Greek gods then I thought... A lot of random people statues. Like, there was a lot of sitting youth.

The Empire state building was uber cool. My dad and I went up to the 86th floor observation deck which was very high up. I'm glad I didn't go to the 102nd floor. I also asked the front desk person how many people had asked if there was a 600th floor... she said that only about 5 people had asked, and they were all younger kids. Apparently their parents had given the lady dirty looks and told her to play around. It was pretty funny!

Rawrg, I HATE planes. Just thought I'd say that.

On the lines of my PJO re-filming, I'm happy because me cousin said he'd play Grover. Yay!

Harry Potter-athon!

I'm watching ABC Family's Harry Potter-athon today, and it just makes me remember how much I love Harry Potter. I used to have the HUGEST crush on Daniel Radcliffe when I was like, in 2nd/3rd grade. I was also the biggest Harry Potter nerd on earth. Silly, right?

Movies

I just saw Toy Story 3... again... I cried the first time, but the second time I was just trying not to fall asleep. I was never a fan of the Toy Story movies, so I can't say I enjoyed seeing it a second time. :-(

MICHELLE PHAN FAKER

So on YouTube, Michelle Phan has a FAKER. That's right. This is their page... MichelleL Phan. There is an extra L in the faker's name. DON'T START HATING ON MICHELLE. SHE IS INNOCENT, SHE HAS NOT TRASHED BUBZ PAGE IN ANY WAY.

HAUL!!!

I've been out all day shopping with my mom. Nordstrom is having this AMAZING sale, so I got two MAC eyeshadows in Blanc Type and Wedge. I use Blanc type for highlighting my eyes, and Wedge for contouring and the crease. They're both beautiful neutral matte colors. (I mainly got them because they were used on Kristen Stewart in Twilight, but shh, don't tell anyone!)
I got like, a gazillion perfume samples. One of them was Ed Hardy, another was Dior Miss Cherie, and another was by DKNY, but I can't remember what the other one was... I currently use Viva La Juicy by Juicy Couture, but the very first perfume I ever used was Be Delicious by DKNY. Be Delicious was too strong and it didn't last very long, but I like Viva La Juicy because it has a very sweet feminine smell that lasts forever.
I got the newest book in the Pretty Little Liars series today also. The cover is very bright... I don't like bright... It's too happy. But I can't wait to read it! I'm saving it for the plane trip out to DC, and then to Maine, and then to New York. :-P Not looking forward to the plane trip. I'm afraid of heights. Blegh.
I got my purple Clarisonic Mia in the mail today, and it's adorable! I have it hooked up to the charger so I can bring it on the trip with me. It was on sale for the Nordstrom sale, although it won't be sold in stores until the sixteenth.

Bonjour!

Vampires

So I just saw the trailer for the movie Vampires Suck (go to www.vampiressuckmovie.com to see it) and I must say, even though I am a dedicated Twilight fan and Team Edward, it looks hilarious!

Percy Jackson and traveling

Well, I read the original Percy Jackson (the movie) script and I got really mad caus A) It would have been rated PG-13 if they had gotten their way, B) It was so different from the books that I cried, and C) There was a LOT of mature content and cussing. :-( So sad...

I'm going on vacation for two weeks to Maine. I'm going OVERALL to Washinton D.C., Maine, and then New York. TO ALL PERCY JACKSON FANS: If you see a blond girl running around New York in an orange Camp Half-Blood shirt within the next two weeks, that's me! But SHH, don't tell anyone, I'm going to be impersonating Annabeth! *evilly grins* Crazy, right? No. I'm just a dedicated book worm.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO CLAIRE AND BECCAH!!!

And I'm sad because they killed the Avatar the Last Airbender movie... :-( A lot of books-turned-into-movies have been killed, now that I think about it...

Update

Well I'm a little shocked. Yahoo/the news is going all off on Michelle Phan for the circle lenses that can supposedly scratch your corneas and make you lose your eyesight in 24 hours. I personally think that the style of lenses (they make your eyes look bigger) looks stupid, but there are obviously people out there in the world that think they look cute. However, they look stupid, as I am stating again.

In other news, I'm bummed that she hasn't put out a video in like, FOREVER. :-( UPDATE MICHELLE PHAN!!! In fact, none of the beauty gurus I like have put out videos lately. Juicystar07 (Blair) put out one like, yesterday, but then Elle (allthatglitters21), MIchelle Phan (ricebuny), Josh (petrilude), and Klaire (klairedelysart) haven't put out anything in a while. So I'm sad... and bored...

The 4th of July

Yesterday was the 4th of July. We went out with our neighbors to a little parking lot that wasn't very far away from where they were shooting off the fireworks. I got all twenty and a half minutes of fireworks on film. Then, I stuffed myself with burnt marshmallows. XP

That's it...

LaRoux

Well, I just watched LaRoux's video for Bulletproof and I noticed two things: 1. The music video sucks. 2. LaRoux looks a LOT like Clay Aiken! Secret identity...?

You can watch it here.

And someone get her some makeup-remover.

Boredom

Well... I'm bored. I'm babysitting tonight, and have virtually nothing else to do. I'm waiting for my dad to get home so he can take a head shot of me, but he'll probably have to do it tomorrow. :-( Darn, I wanted to get that done today... *sigh*

I'm watching my favorite show ever, which is Unnatural History on Cartoon Network. It's an AMAZING show. It's a little scary for my taste though...

Breaking Dawn

I'm working on finding a way to contact Rene Haynes, who casted extras in both New Moon and Eclipse. I want to know if she's casting Breaking Dawn too: I desperately want to be in Breaking Dawn. I preferably want to be Irina (She's the one who sees Renesme and tells the Volturi, she's from the Denali clan) or Maggie. (She's the little red head from the Scottish coven who can tell if someone's lying) I found her email address, I'm just debating whether to email her or not. I'm thinking of saying something like,
"Dear Rene Haynes,
Hi, my name is Natalie and I'm a huge Twilight fan. You've casted both New Moon and Eclipse, and I think that you did amazing. I wanted to know if you were casting Breaking Dawn also, and if you were, what the chances are that a young teenager with experience in acting could be in it.
Thank you so much,
Natalie"

So whattaya think? I think it sounds pretty good, but that's coming from the person who wrote it. And I DO have experience FWI.

Rawrg, I'm so confused...

ECLIPSE!!!

OME, Eclipse was AMAZING!!!!!!!!! I got to go to the 9:00 PM early premiere of Eclipse, which was better than having to wait up until midnight like how I did for New Moon.

Eclipse was by far the best of all three Twilight movies. Bella was still annoying though, Edward was still my favorite, and Jacob is still an immature mutt. TEAM EDWARD!!! It was filmed better (other then a shaky camera), had better filming locations, and the actors were  AMAZING. Other than KStew. She blinks too much, she's whiny, and I don't know why Edward OR Jacob like her. :-P

I plan on seeing it again... and again... and again... or until my brain melts.

THE LINE TO GET INTO THE MOVIE WAS A STINKING MILE LONG!!!!! Literally. We walked for at least 5 minutes before we got to the end of the line. And I was shocked at how many cute guys were in line. It makes me appreciate Twilight just that little bit more... LOL this one guy toetally looked like Jacob! He had a good tan, short black hair, jeans, and NO SHIRT!!! And then there was a pale/sparkly/hot Edward fake. ^.^ I loved it!

I can't wait to see it again!

Sugar Sickness

Have you ever gotten that disgusting feeling after you've had something too sweet, or too much sugar? That's how I feel right now. When we were dropping my little sister off at Disneyland earlier today and stopped to get Beignets (I hope that's how you spell it) at the Jazz Cafe To-Go.  I had two beignets, and yet I still felt like puking over the amount of sugar in them.
For those of you who don't know, a beignet is a square-shaped donutish thing covered in powdered sugar. It is the best sugary treat on earth. But they're very sugary and full of carbs. So good, but so bad.
If you ever have this problem, try drinking LOTS of water, eating plenty of protein, and other healthy stuff. To save myself from dying of sugar intake, I drank water, ate an egg and tofu sausages (I'm a vegetarian, eggs don't count.) and some watermelon. It was a great lunch.
Then, I went out and got a MAC blot powder in light! Makeup makes everyone feel better. My mom got a Bobbi Brown foundation (original formula, not the oil free one.), Bobbi Brown eyeliner brush, and a Bobbi Brown eyeliner.
I SAW THE CUTEST JUICY COUTURE CHARM!!! You can see what it looks like here. Only reason I didn't get it is because it's $52 stinking bucks, and that's too much for such a little charm. :-(
Hmm... I'm watching Hannah Montanna right now... I can't believe I've sunk to this level of horribleness. She's such a skank... blegh.

Au revoir! Αντίο! Vaarwel! Mirupafshim!

MINI BEAUTY HAUL!!!

From CVS/Walgreens. Not the best haul grounds, I know, but hey, it's worth it!

1. FIRSTLY, I got a L'Oreal True Match foundation in Porcelain W1. It is the lightest shade in the warm tones, even though I have neutral tones. The warm tones just sort of make you have more of a radiant glow. You can get it here.

2. Next, I got a Revlon Colorstay Just Bitten Lipstain in Twilight. It's a really pretty berry red color that I just had to get before the Eclipse premiere tomorrow. It's not drying like the Covergirl lipstain at all, and it even comes with a built in chapstick on the other side. LUV IT!!! But it was sold out at Walgreens, so my mom and I went to CVS. You can get it here.

3. And lastly, I got a Jergens Natural Glow Revitalizing Daily Moisturizer for fair skin tones. I decided that looking like a Cullen year-round might not be the best choice... so I got a self tanner. Much better then going to the spray tan salon and being orange for a week. Jergens gives you a really nice natural color. You can get it here.

Hmm... Done with hauling for a while. I'm going to Disneyland to get donut-y things tomorrow morning, then I'm going to Irvine for an early Eclipse premiere tomorrow night, I CAN'T WAIT!!!!! I'll give some spoilers on here tomorrow...

Ciao and g'night!

6 Things I Couldn't Live Without

6 things (not including makeup, food, water, or shelter) that I absolutely could not live without.

  1. My iPod. I love my iPod to death and I use it daily. I have the 3rd generation iPod nano in silver, and I decked it out in cute little heart stickers. LOVE IT!!!
  2. My laptop. I'm on the internet the majority of the day... gotta love my laptop! I have the Dell Inspiron in purple. (Purple is my fav color... right after black.)
  3. My video camera. I film absolutely everything. I have NO CLUE what vid camera I have... :-P
  4. My digital camera. Pictures! I hate them if they have me in them, but I love taking pics of scenery, people, and random moments. I have the Nikon Coolpix in Mint. :-D
  5. A sketch pad and a pen. I draw 24/7. It's prob my fav hobby, just sitting down and drawing.
  6. A book. I love to read. I'm such a book worm that it's sad. I'm currently reading a lot of books, so I won't list them all.

*watching iCarly right now*
Feel free to tell me what you can't live without! And am I talking to myself? You betcha!

6 Beauty Products I couldn't Live Without

6 Beauty products I couldn't live without.

  1. My Mario Badescu drying lotion. It is a miracle for acne prone skin. You just take a Q-Tip and dip it all the way through the bottle down to the bottom where the pink stuff is, and dot it on any zit or oncoming zit. It dries them out so they disappear overnight! You can find it here.
  2. My Fresh fair isle foundation. It is the best foundation. You can find it here if you want to look at the description. They sell Fresh products at Sephora too. Their products are all natural too. Highly recommended, but I really want to try Bobbi Brown's oil-free foundation.
  3. MY MAYBELLINE CONCEALER!!! Yes, I have zits and dark circles and slight redness. Concealer covers all of this. I use Maybelline's Natural Perfecting Concealer in Ivory. It's absolutely amazing. You can find it here.
  4. My Maybelline Mascara. I love mascara. I use Maybelline's Great Lash mascara in waterproof very black. It has the most natural look to it. I'm one of those people who can't pull off the overly-made-up look. I wish I could though. I can't wear bright colors or eyeliner. :-( You can get it here.
  5. My straightening iron. I don't know which one I use, but it's amazing. It has ceramic plates (don't they all though?) that uber straighten my hair. I have naturally curly hair, but I prefer straightening my hair then trying to have to maintain perfect curls all day.
  6. My MAC Mineralize Skinfinish natural in light. It has a very natural look to it, which I like. Although I do wish that they made this product in translucent, because even the lightest shade of their makeup is too dark for my extremely fair skin. You can find it here.

Well, this would be my top six beauty products list. Feel free to tell me the things you love to use!

Movie Reviews

So I'm gonna talk about movies and books that have been turned into movies or are going to be turned into movies.

Harry Potter- It was okay... nothing special... but I think that the first and second movies stuck best to the books. The fifth one had a really dreary appearance and overall feel, and I noticed that they actually went back and tinted the whole movie sepia. It annoyed me really really bad... The sixth movie was teen-ified. I would recommend these movies.
4 stars out of 5 stars

Percy Jackson- I could go on for days on how suckishly they made the movie... For those of you who don't know, the book was nothing like the movie. Well, the movie should have been called "Percy Jackson and the Quest for the Pearls" and it annoyed me sooo bad... and worst of all, they cut out main characters. (At that point I was ready to nuke something) Props to Grover for driving all the way across the country in a pickup truck! However, the shooting was great as was the scenery. I would recommend this movie, but read the books first.
2 stars out of 5 stars

Twilight- Before you say anything, I love Twilight so don't comment if you're a Twilight hater. The book is absolutely amazing, so the movie didn't do it justice. The characters are great, except for Kristen Stewart who has an excessive blinking problem. They cut out like, one character who wasn't all that big so not a big problem. I would recommend this movie.
4 stars out of 5 stars

Prince of Persia- Great movie. I would go and watch this movie at least seven times. The shots were great, costumes were great, scenery great, go and watch this movie. It's sooo worth it. It's thrilling and high-end and it keeps you on the edge of your seat, or if you're like me, at the back of your seat biting your nails. Only thing I didn't like about it was the end. SPOILER: That dagger that turns back time takes them all the way back to when he first got the dagger, before he fell in love and went through all the stuff he went through. I HATE it when they do that. It's like it never happened... I highly recommend this movie.
4 stars out of 5 stars

Iron Man 2- Fun movie. That lasso guy is absolutely freaky though. Great for anyone over the age of thirteen. I love how Scarlett Johansson is such a kick-butt girl in this! The movie is loud and exciting and thrilling, so go and see this in IMAX or 3D or something. I recommend this movie.
4.5 stars out of 5 stars

Clash of the Titans- Cool movie, but I'm noticing a pattern with Gemma Arterton's (Io) roles... She plays similar characters in both Clash of the Titans and the Prince of Persia. Oh, and Io was supposed to be a cow. Her story: Io was one of Zeus's wives and Hera got very jealous. Zeus turned her into a cow to protect her from Hera's wrath, but Hera took the cow (Io) and tied her to a tree under Argus's watch. (Argus has 100 eyes and none of them are closed all at once) Zeus got Hermes to play his lyre to Argus and make him fall asleep, closing all of his eyes. (Killing him) Hera was distressed by this, and turned his eyes into the peacock's tail feathers. [link] So it didn't completely keep to correct mythology. And princess Andromeda was chained to a rock by her parents as offering to the sea monster, and Perseus saved her. The Kraken was never an actual creature. Don't waste extra money seeing it in 3D, it had no effect. I would recommend this movie, but it's not the most thrilling.
3 stars out of 5 stars

Diary of a Wimpy Kid- It was just as horrible as the book. I was sitting there with my little sister thinking "Who has a gun?" the WHOLE time... It stuck completely to the book though, so I give it props for that reason only. It's very annoying but good for little boys.
2 stars out of 5 stars

The Tooth Fairy- Not... A... Good... Movie... It was boring but also good for little kids. I would not recommend this movie.
3 stars out of 5 stars

The Lord of the Rings- THIS MOVIE HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE BOOK! Grr... It was good, but Frodo is LOOSING HIS MIND. They cut out very important characters, added many characters, changed the plot, cut out a good half of each book, etc. However, the movies were very well filmed. I would recommend this movie.

Sherlock Holmes- It scared me a little bit. Really intense and not all that funny. It's gloomy and dark and creepy too. But it's interesting, so that kept me watching. I would recommend this movie.

Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakuel- Boring times ten. Don't waste your time on this movie. It was stupid and pointless, so sorta like the Tooth Fairy and a Diary of a Wimpy Kid. I would not recommend this movie.

Avatar- Oh. My. Goodness. This movie was amazing!!! It was impeccably filmed and the actors were amazing. The 3D was the best I've ever seen too. I don't think that ANY film will EVER top this movie. The colors were vibrant and the animation was so cool... I would really recommend this movie.
6 stars out of 5 stars (That's right, above and beyond.)

Toy Story 3- Holy crud, this was a good movie! Yes it was a tad scary, so don't take anyone who might get scared. SPOILER: There was a freaky broken up baby doll, and one of those weird monkey things with the symbols (That's how you spell it, right?) and its eyes bug out. It was the best movie out of all three though. I even cried at one part.

Shrek Forever After- Hmm... The movie was just okay. Nothing special, it was just there. I mean, it was cute and Puss in Boots was adorable, but I didn't really like it. It probably didn't help that I was grumpy and it was past 9 at night when I saw it either, so this is only my opinion.

Well, that's it. Hope this helps you if you want to watch a movie. Sorry about the no horror films, I'm super-sensitive to scary stuff so I don't watch those movies. :-(

My Thoughts

Well, this is my very first post. After two days of going to the beach and hanging out with my uber fun cousin, I'm pooped. Although I must say, I'm very happy with how my hair looks. I have "beach hair" right now. (It got blonder and it's very curly) But the sunburn... not fun.

I'm watching the Eclipse commercial right now and I'm SO EXCITED!!! I did the Nordstrom BP thing where every $50 you spend, you get a free Eclipse ticket for an early premiere. I get to take one friend to see it at the Irvine spectrum with my mom and her friend. I just don't know who I'm going to bring...

Hmm... books I'm reading... I'm reading a Greek mythology book (I'm obsessed with Greek mythology), the Lord of the Rings, Percy Jackson (AGAIN), and Eclipse. I'm such a book worm, there's no chance that I could go a day without reading.

MY BEAUTY GURUS ON YOUTUBE!!! I <3 watching KlaireDeLysArt, Allthatglitters21, Juicystar07, Petrilude, and Michelle Phan. I couldn't go even a day without watching them. In particular, I like watching Juicystar07 (Blair) because her skin is so much like mine. (combination oily with zits) Because of her, I found the Mario Badescu drying stuff. (Got it at Nordstrom) She also inspired me to get a limited-edition  lavender Clarasonic Mia. She's a life-saver, but if you have dry skin, try watching her sister Allthatglitters21. (Elle) They do the best makeup tutorials, skin care routines, and other stuff. I highly recommend watching their videos.

Ah, summer. I used to be a summer-hater, but now I love it. But that could be because you can't run around in a bikini in the middle of winter... (Some of you may actually do that. That's really weird.)

I LOVE WRITING!!! I'm working on a Twilight fan fiction, a Percy Jackson fan fiction, and a book. Yes, a book. It's in Greek mythology and I'm staying as far away from anything that might sound like Percy Jackson as possible. I love Percy Jackson, but I don't want my book to sound like it. I also have another idea for a different book, but I'm not going to say what. Muahahahah, I'm that evil.

Ciao!
