Harry Potter- It was okay... nothing special... but I think that the first and second movies stuck best to the books. The fifth one had a really dreary appearance and overall feel, and I noticed that they actually went back and tinted the whole movie sepia. It annoyed me really really bad... The sixth movie was teen-ified. I would recommend these movies.

Percy Jackson- I could go on for days on how suckishly they made the movie... For those of you who don't know, the book was nothing like the movie. Well, the movie should have been called "Percy Jackson and the Quest for the Pearls" and it annoyed me sooo bad... and worst of all, they cut out main characters. (At that point I was ready to nuke something) Props to Grover for driving all the way across the country in a pickup truck! However, the shooting was great as was the scenery. I would recommend this movie, but read the books first.

Twilight- Before you say anything, I love Twilight so don't comment if you're a Twilight hater. The book is absolutely amazing, so the movie didn't do it justice. The characters are great, except for Kristen Stewart who has an excessive blinking problem. They cut out like, one character who wasn't all that big so not a big problem. I would recommend this movie.

Prince of Persia- Great movie. I would go and watch this movie at least seven times. The shots were great, costumes were great, scenery great, go and watch this movie. It's sooo worth it. It's thrilling and high-end and it keeps you on the edge of your seat, or if you're like me, at the back of your seat biting your nails. Only thing I didn't like about it was the end. SPOILER: That dagger that turns back time takes them all the way back to when he first got the dagger, before he fell in love and went through all the stuff he went through. I HATE it when they do that. It's like it never happened... I highly recommend this movie.

Iron Man 2- Fun movie. That lasso guy is absolutely freaky though. Great for anyone over the age of thirteen. I love how Scarlett Johansson is such a kick-butt girl in this! The movie is loud and exciting and thrilling, so go and see this in IMAX or 3D or something. I recommend this movie.

Clash of the Titans- Cool movie, but I'm noticing a pattern with Gemma Arterton's (Io) roles... She plays similar characters in both Clash of the Titans and the Prince of Persia. Oh, and Io was supposed to be a cow. Her story: Io was one of Zeus's wives and Hera got very jealous. Zeus turned her into a cow to protect her from Hera's wrath, but Hera took the cow (Io) and tied her to a tree under Argus's watch. (Argus has 100 eyes and none of them are closed all at once) Zeus got Hermes to play his lyre to Argus and make him fall asleep, closing all of his eyes. (Killing him) Hera was distressed by this, and turned his eyes into the peacock's tail feathers. [link] So it didn't completely keep to correct mythology. And princess Andromeda was chained to a rock by her parents as offering to the sea monster, and Perseus saved her. The Kraken was never an actual creature. Don't waste extra money seeing it in 3D, it had no effect. I would recommend this movie, but it's not the most thrilling.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid- It was just as horrible as the book. I was sitting there with my little sister thinking "Who has a gun?" the WHOLE time... It stuck completely to the book though, so I give it props for that reason only. It's very annoying but good for little boys.
2 stars out of 5 stars
The Tooth Fairy- Not... A... Good... Movie... It was boring but also good for little kids. I would not recommend this movie.
3 stars out of 5 stars
The Lord of the Rings- THIS MOVIE HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE BOOK! Grr... It was good, but Frodo is LOOSING HIS MIND. They cut out very important characters, added many characters, changed the plot, cut out a good half of each book, etc. However, the movies were very well filmed. I would recommend this movie.
3 stars out of 5 stars
Sherlock Holmes- It scared me a little bit. Really intense and not all that funny. It's gloomy and dark and creepy too. But it's interesting, so that kept me watching. I would recommend this movie.
4 stars out of 5 stars
Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakuel- Boring times ten. Don't waste your time on this movie. It was stupid and pointless, so sorta like the Tooth Fairy and a Diary of a Wimpy Kid. I would not recommend this movie.

Avatar- Oh. My. Goodness. This movie was amazing!!! It was impeccably filmed and the actors were amazing. The 3D was the best I've ever seen too. I don't think that ANY film will EVER top this movie. The colors were vibrant and the animation was so cool... I would really recommend this movie.
6 stars out of 5 stars (That's right, above and beyond.)
Toy Story 3- Holy crud, this was a good movie! Yes it was a tad scary, so don't take anyone who might get scared. SPOILER: There was a freaky broken up baby doll, and one of those weird monkey things with the symbols (That's how you spell it, right?) and its eyes bug out. It was the best movie out of all three though. I even cried at one part.
4 out of 5 stars
Shrek Forever After- Hmm... The movie was just okay. Nothing special, it was just there. I mean, it was cute and Puss in Boots was adorable, but I didn't really like it. It probably didn't help that I was grumpy and it was past 9 at night when I saw it either, so this is only my opinion.

Well, that's it. Hope this helps you if you want to watch a movie. Sorry about the no horror films, I'm super-sensitive to scary stuff so I don't watch those movies.
